Our School Today
There are nearly 1000 students and 55 academic staff and 07 non-academic staff is 07 Who work in a very limited land area with less physical resources to face the challenges of the schools with more facilities and more resources. After the Tsunami on 26th December, 2004 the school was renovated with the help of the government and non-governmental organization to provide necessary facilities for the students to continue their studies without any interruption. There classes from grade 1 to Advanced Level classes in Arts and Commerce subject. In addition to these facilities Sports , Music , Dancing , and other aesthetic studies are equal to the standard of other schools. As a popular school in the Matara Urban area it is located just in front of the Indian Ocean where the main bus stand provides quick access to the students who come from bit far away villages to reach the school.
