The Teacher iin charge of sports is Mrs. Y.P.M.K Yapa Bandara
And Mrs. W.A.S Mettha Nanda is also working as a Teacher of Sports.
As the school has very limited physical resources the sports activities of the school have been badly affected.The students do not have a play ground and they have to use the beach in front of the school to do their sport practices.
The school annual sports meets are held at the Sanath Jayasooriya play ground close to the main bus stand of Matara.In spite of all these difficulties and barriers the students are able to achieve the highest positions in their Zonal, Provincial and island sports competitions as given below.
1.In the year 2008 they became semi-finalist in Zonal Volleyball tournament.
